Gold Coast Roller Sports (GCRS) provides comprehensive roller skating programs for all skill levels, from beginners to competitive athletes.
Our structured pathways include Learn to Skate classes, an artistic skating Development program, and advanced Competitive training.
Established in 2000, GCRS offers professional coaching, weekly group sessions, and private lessons for both children and adults!
Artistic Roller Skating is a worldwide sport, which is both challenging and beautiful. It is a highly rewarding sport and competitive skaters are highly passionate in their work. Artistic Roller Skating incorporates the elements of poise, grace, precision, skill and strength, with a fun and encouraging environment.
Skaters perform to an audience and a judging panel, as they compete against others in any of these four disciplines.
FREE SKATING
FREE SKATING involves performing solo routines choreographed and timed to music with jumps, spins and intricate footwork
FIGURE SKATING
FIGURE SKATING requires balance as intricate turns and shapes are tracked on predetermined circles (or "figures") printed onto the rink surface
DANCE SKATING
DANCE SKATING involves solo or pair routines combining the poise of ballet with the rhythm and precision of professional dancing
